DIRECTIONS
Mt. Bike Oregon basecamp is in Greenwaters Park. Greenwaters Park is located off of Highway 58, which is the main highway that runs east from I-5. The exit off of I-5 is just south of the Eugene exits. Follow highway 58 into Oakridge.

If you're heading EAST, it is on your right just after you pass through the town of Oakridge. If you're heading WEST, the park will be on your left. If you reach the town of Oakridge, you have gone too far. When you enter the park, turn LEFT to reach the registration area.

THURSDAY CHECK IN
There are absolutely no services on Thursday. None.

You may check in as early as 10am on Thursday. If you arrive after the info area is closed around 8pm, find a camp site and check in with us on Friday AM for your rider pass. There are several great restaurant options in town and there is a grocery store. There are no showers until Friday evening. There are no shuttles on Thursday. There are no meals on Thursday. You may camp on Thursday.  Settle in, relax, get ready for a very full weekend.

There will be an info session in the amphitheater at 8pm to discuss trail options and weekend details. You can ask all your questions at the session.

FRIDAY
Breakfast is in the morning You make your lunch to take on the trail Shuttles start in the morning See the schedule when you arrive. You may check in any time 7:30-5 on Friday (if you're on Middle Fork, don't worry, we'll get you taken care of).

SATURDAY DINNER BY CHRIS KING
Chris King, the components manufacturer, is cooking our dinner on Saturday night! Chris has a delicious fiesta planned with tri-tip steak tortas, plenty of sides, veggie options and a berry shortcake dessert.

NO ALCOHOL IN THE PARK
No alcohol cans or bottles outside of the FREE beer garden. This is an extremely important guideline and the future of MBO depends upon you helping us out in this area, so please be respectful, no matter how great the temptation.

WHAT TO BRING
Please see this page on our website for what to bring. You must bring all of your own camping gear.

DON'T FORGET YOUR BIKE
We do not have bikes available. There will be a handful of demo bikes for TEST RIDES ONLY, but you will not be able to ride a demo bike for the weekend. Bikes can be assembled by the Willamette Mountain Mercantile bike shop in Oakridge.

NO PARKING ON SITE
There is absolutely no car parking on site. You can unload your gear, but you need to move your vehicle out of the park right away. The MBO parking lot is free and it is across the highway, *walking distance* from the park. Please never park in the parking spaces of the park as they are reserved for event staff and Oakridge residents who frequently use the park. Please never park in the rest area as it is a sanctioned highway rest stop and we do not have access to that parking lot at all.

GETTING MORE INFO
We will have an info area staffed for the bulk of the day every day. Guides will be at the info area in the mornings eating breakfast and you may pick their brains about the trails, plan your day with their help, etc. Guides will also give trail info in the evenings at the 8pm info sessions. We will provide you with a printed event guide that gives an overview of the trails, a schedule of the weekend, and other helpful details.

CHOOSING YOUR SHUTTLES AND TRAILS
Some trail rides will start from camp, and for others you will take a shuttle to the trail head. All group rides will have at least one guide to lead the way. Sign up sheets for the trails will be ready by 8pm on Thursday. At that time, you will be able to sign up for shuttles for the entire weekend. You may switch your shuttle at any time, change your mind, etc. The shuttle sign up station is next to the info station and it is open all weekend long.

"It is a beautiful area. They've got a lot of really fun trails. It has beautiful mountains, beautiful trees…[beautiful] everything."
~Gary Fisher on riding in Oakridge
